ARL/Music Library Association (M.S. campus)
With funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative (DII) seeks to address the growing need for professional staff in music and performing arts libraries who better reflect evolving demographics of students and faculty in music and performing arts higher education. LIS Access Midwest Program (M.S. campus or online)
LAMP is a regional network of academic libraries and information science schools dedicated to promoting careers within the field of library and information science (LIS). The program accomplishes this goal by encouraging promising students at its member institutions to participate in activities and events designed to increase their awareness of the profession and to provide support for subsequent graduate studies in LIS. LAMP provides opportunity for professional development such as the LAMP summer institutes and internships, peer and professional mentorship and guidance, and financial assistance for the completion of a master's degree in LIS. LAMP specifically seeks to encourage the participation of students from statistically and historically underrepresented populations in LIS. Questions? Contact Amani Ayad.
Mix IT Up! (M.S. campus or online)
Mix IT Up! offers support to student scholars through placements in community organizations emphasizing youth advocacy. Questions? Contact Jeanie Austin.
