User Experience at Google

Presenter Bio:
Asif Baki is a senior user experience researcher at Google. As a user experience researcher working on Google's Geo products, Asif works with product team members to improve the user experience of Google Maps. His work with Google DotOrg has focused on understanding the needs of people in crisis situations. Previously, Asif spent 2 years working on Google's international search offerings and worked in Google's Bangalore office helping to understand the needs of Indian users. Prior to arriving at Google in 2006, Asif spent three years at Microsoft as user experience researcher in the company's digital media division. Asif has a M.S. from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
