Celia Perez, GSLIS Sharing Success CAS student, will defend her CAS Project on Tuesday, July 17, at 1:00pm in LIS 242.

Celia's project, "Social Media as Professional Development Tool: Developing a Blog about Latino Children's and YA Literature," describes her process in creating "All Brown All Around", a blog that features recommended Latino children's and young adult books. "All Brown All Around" is designed to support the inclusion of this literature in libraries, classrooms, and homes, as well as offer insight into evaluation criteria and strategies for promoting the use of this literature with children and young adults.
