Printers & Scanners

Printing

Printing can be a complex process to set up, but is obviously an important function. These instructions are laid out to help the majority of people answer the most commonly asked questions. If you need assistance or have a question that isn't addressed on this page, please contact the GSLIS Help Desk.

I need to...

  1. print from a GSLIS workstation (such as those in the labs, offices, and classrooms).
  2. print from my Windows laptop.
  3. print from my Mac laptop.
  4. know how much it costs to print.
  5. check my print quota.
  6. purchase additional print quota.
  7. print so my file doesn't print until I'm at the printer to pick it up.
  8. find the printers and see what models they are.
  9. print to Optimus (the 2nd floor copier).
  10. print to a non-GSLIS University printer.

Scanning

I need to...

  1. scan in the LRL.
  2. scan using Optimus (the 2nd floor copier).
