This presentation will consider two issues which arise from this. First, how the library reconfigures place, collections, expertise, and systems/service. Once collocated and vertically integrated, these come apart on the network and present different challenges. Second, how the library reconfigures its collective presence. Once collaboration was at the margin; increasingly it becomes more central as efficiencies push activities to the network level.
