Affiliated FacultyThe faculty members listed below are affiliated with GSLIS through a joint appointment with their home departments. Faculty are designated as "affiliated" when their work extends the teaching and research of GSLIS: affiliated faculty may be regular attendees of our research group meetings, cross-list their courses with GSLIS and their home departments, or serve on advisory committees for our doctoral students. To become a GSLIS affiliated faculty member, a candidate must first be nominated by a current GSLIS faculty member. The prospective candidate then gives a brown-bag or lecture, after which the faculty votes in executive session. All nominations are confidential until the vote is concluded.
