Official Mailing Lists
- GSLIS Official Mailing Lists
- Subscriptions for all lists are automated using the same
mechanism that populates the GSLIS home page listings for faculty and
staff and the LEEP home page listings for students. Subscriptions
must use the official "netID@illinois.edu" address of each GSLIS associate.
Email can, however, be redirected from the "netID@illinois.edu" email to a different email address. Please visit the CITES email redirection page for more information.
- New lists have been created to match the faculty and staff
divisions on the GSLIS home page. Other list names have been
standardized (e.g., lis_all has been changed to all_lis to match
all_faculty, all_staff, and all_students).
- Faculty and staff are now able to post to any of the lists without
moderation. Posts
by students or alternate addresses for faculty and staff will be held
for moderation by the Helpdesk staff.
- Given the lists are unmoderated for faculty and staff,
their associated bulletin boards have been made read-only. The
remainder of the general discussion mailing lists remain the same.

All GSLIS students, faculty and staff have a University of Illinois or @illinois.edu address managed by CITES. You can use these accounts to contact instructors or classmates and they will use them to contact you.
