Who are the people enrolled in our school? Our students come from broad mix of backgrounds, but they are similar in their desire to help people use information to achieve their goals. Some dream of working in a traditional library setting, some aspire to managing data systems in nonprofit institutions or private industries, and others are dedicated to implementing new technology in underserved communities.

Whatever the LIS career goal, GSLIS provides the path to achieve it. We welcome and encourage diversity, both in our programs and in our student body. Ours is an eclectic group that enjoys the opportunity to find their professional niche through flexible programs of study and a variety of active student organizations.
