How to join PLG

All students, faculty, and staff of UIUC are welcome to join PLG. We also encourage community members to participate in PLG meetings and activities. You may opt for official and unofficial membership in PLG.

Official membership

To officially join PLG, you must pay dues to the national organization. PLG's membership dues are $20 for individuals, $10 for low income/student, and is open to library workers and users who agree with PLG's Statement of Purpose. Members receive a subscription to Progressive Librarian, listserv privileges, and a membership directory. Membership forms may be downloaded here. GSLIS membership

You do not have to join the national PLG to attend meetings or participate in PLG-sponsored events at GSLIS. If you would like to get involved, come to a meeting, or send an email to "Caroline Nappo"-cnappo2, at illinois.edu- indicating your interest.
