Second Life 102

Have you been in Second Life for awhile but still have some questions about basics such as buying or renting land, shopping, creating a professional appearance, basic building for simple needs?  This new course is designed to cover basic information on some of the more advanced features of Second Life.  This interactive four week session will help you take fuller advantage of Second Life and learn new skills that will help you as you live your Second Life.

Week One:  Beyond the Basics - How to Shop, Purchase, Rent the Essentials
Week Two:  Putting your Best Foot Forward:  Creating a Professional Appearance
Week Three: How Do I....?  Very basic building, group set up, ???
Week Four: 
Places to Go, Things to See, Part II

Instructor:  Barbara Galik (Puglet Dancer)

Audience:  Anybody needing or wanting additional more training in aspects of Second Life.  Pre-Req:  Second Life 101 or experience in Second Life

Course Technology

The two-hour synchronous sessions will meet online in Second Life. Participants will need a reliable Internet connection via DSL or cable in addition to the following hardware and software SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. IMPORTANT: Please ensure you can meet these requirements before registering for a course. Check your system against the requirements carefully especially your graphics/video card.
